Dyslexia Awareness Training

The Alabama Reading Initiative Regional Support Staff will be providing Dyslexia Training available to all K-12 teachers throughout the state.  In Region 11, we have scheduled 16 sessions (morning and afternoon) throughout southeast Alabama to make it convenient for your teachers to attend.  Teachers will only need to attend one 2.5 hour session, either morning or afternoon.  This Dyslexia Training is available on the following dates and locations:

February 1 – Brewton City Schools Central Office, Brewton

February 25 – Coffee County Schools Central Office, Elba

March 3 – AMSTI Building, Troy, Rooms 115 and 117

March 3 – Troy University Dothan Campus, Dothan, Malone 123 and 122

March 3 – Andalusia City Schools Central Office, Andalusia

The STI-PD Title Number for all sessions is TUEDPD.  Individual sessions are listed below.  Please encourage your teachers to make sure they register for the correct date, time and location.

Sessions without at least 10 people pre-registered will be cancelled.
